WHO WE ARE
Hi! I'm Julie, and I'm so thankful you are here.
I look forward to guiding you through specific
well-being details to ensure you are living
your most fulfilling life.
I am a wife, mom, solopreneur, author, nutrition coach, creator, traveler, triathlete, hot yogi, go-getter, a true Madisonian, and proud Wisconsin Badger.
My passions lie in adventure, sustainability, design, well-being, and helping others live a fulfilling and joy-filled life. Those are my gifts. My purpose is to share those gifts.
Life is sure funny in how it throws us parts and pieces, and we are to put the puzzle together to identify who we are and our purpose in this one great, big, beautiful life. So many factors in my life over the last decade led me to be placed perfectly here - the creator of Lifecycle Health & Well-Being.
A little history (those puzzle pieces) that coalesced to form Lifecycle and its mission:
I was diagnosed with eczema when I was in first grade. I had more dermatology appointments than I can count in order to identify a ‘cure.’ Fast forward to 2013 (age 32) when, after much personal research, I decided to cut out gluten to see if it would make a difference. Lo and behold, it did!...and almost immediately! Adopting a gluten-free lifestyle positively spiraled to my current near-Paleo diet. After so much trial and error, I realized Paleo works for me. My body and mind respond to Paleo so well, yet I recognize it is not the approach that works for everyone. I want to help individuals determine what nutrition approach works for them!
I became a true endurance athlete in 2009 when I raced my first Ironman. I had no idea what I was doing/consuming from a nutrition standpoint. Fast forward to nearly 10 years later, I thought: “Who can help with this detail? Maybe it’s me!”
Thanks to COVID, I lost my job in March 2020 - a design position I held for 13.5 years. On top of my full-time career position, I was also the regional well-being champion for over 5 years. This role fueled something in my heart. Could I create my own offering in the well-being industry? Commence my unemployment, which became an ultimate gift...leading me to earn multiple certificates:
ASU & Mayo Clinic Health & Well-Being Certificate
NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Certified Personal Trainer
NASM Certified Nutrition Coach
NASM Certified Sports Nutrition Coach
NASM Virtual Coaching Specialization
My job loss was a gift that led me here with you and for you.
Thank you for being here! I truly appreciate your presence in this community.
May you find value in the health & well-being content, offerings, and experiences brought to you by Lifecycle.
